Lester appears on a census record in Crawford County in 1830.
Lester and Nancy were married on 6 OCT 1836 in Crawford County. Some sources say Perry, but this information came from the library [need to get source information]. I was sent the Marriage Register of 1836 with their information on it, but it has no source information. Also appearing on this marriage register:
Lawson Evans & Maryetta Wilbur, 9 OCT 1846
Josiah Whitehead & Marry Totten, 16 OCT 1836

Monday, December 16, 1844 - Journal of the House of Representatives of the State of Indiana - During the twenty-ninth session of the General Assembly. Mr. Huckaby presented a petition of Lester Hawley and others, of Perry county, praying to be attached to Crawford county; Which was referred to the committee on the judiciary.
In 1850, Lester and family appear on the census record in Perry County.
After 1850, we cannot locate Lester or Nancy, nor can we find the following family members:
In 1860, Sarah Ann Hawley is living with Louisa Harris Woolems, a relative of both Holland and Jacob Harris. Further information on Sarah is on the tree.
